Our story
2021 - 2022
In this year, MST Group experienced a period full of growth. As a specialist in mobile and stationary mechanical engineering, we offered three core services: Production, Design & Prototyping, and Project Development.
We took a big step forward with the introduction of Lean Engineering as our standard working method, which even earned us a nomination for the prestigious Emergo Innovation Award!
Our strength lay in combining manufacturing expertise with fast, creative prototyping. This enabled us to develop innovative solutions to the most complex issues. A strategic collaboration with MST-APD in Romania also allowed us to increase our engineering capacity and respond faster to customer needs.
2023 and further
At MST Group, we continue to focus on optimising complex development projects in mobile engineering. We are proud of the positive impact we have on the speed of innovation within the industry. From our headquarters in Meliskerke and several other European locations, we are building the future together with our colleagues and partners. As an employer, we make the difference through innovation, collaboration and a shared vision of success.

International colleagues
Oradea, Romania, is home to our exclusive cooperation partner MST-APD. Our Romanian colleagues are a valuable addition to the team in Meliskerke. Together, we work in flexible engineering teams in parallel to develop partial solutions. Moreover, this cooperation offers the opportunity to provide appropriate support to companies with multiple branches, both nationally and internationally.
Cristian Neagu about the collaboration between Romania and the Netherlands
For the past three years, Cristian has been working from Romania with the MST Groep team in the Netherlands. He shares an office in Romania with about five colleagues, but the projects don’t stop at the border. “We work on both joint and separate projects. Sometimes I’m involved in designing new products, other times I focus on programming an existing waterjet machine for production. The variety and working with colleagues remotely make the work interesting.”
Working together across 2,000 kilometers Communication runs smoothly: “Because we know each other personally, it’s easy to coordinate. Sometimes it’s a quick call, sometimes we share information in detail via email or Teams. We simply choose whatever works best for the situation.” Although most customers are based in the Netherlands, MST ensures everyone stays involved. “Colleagues from the Netherlands sometimes visit us in Romania, and we travel to the Netherlands two or three times a year. That way, the bond stays strong.”
The strength of the team For Cristian, the success of the collaboration comes down to the company culture: “Everyone is open, honest, and willing to help each other. You don’t have to be afraid of making a mistake – there’s always support from the team. That makes it easier to take initiative and solve problems together.”
