What will you do?

As a Project Engineer, you play a key role in the successful realisation of our projects. You are responsible for technical coordination, managing processes and ensuring quality and progress. You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders. Your duties include:

• Project management: preparing and monitoring project schedules, budgets and technical specifications. You work closely with fellow engineers, project managers and clients to achieve set goals.

• Technical analysis: translating customer needs into technical solutions and specifications.

• Design and innovation: contribute to the development of technical concepts and systems for heavy vehicles and mobile machines.

• Coordination: act as liaison between customers, suppliers and internal departments.

• Quality assurance: ensuring compliance with norms, regulations and technical standards.

• Advice: you provide strategic advice on technical improvements and innovations, focusing on sustainability and efficiency.

• Commercial responsibility: you ensure a positive customer experience through representation, identify opportunities and contribute to commercial processes. Maintains and expands customer relationships.

Finally, at MST Group we work using the Lean Engineering methodology. Making this your own is something we expect of you as a Project Engineer. But don't worry: we will take you through this extensively from your first working day!

What do you bring?

• A completed HBO or WO education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Automotive

• At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar technical role within the industry

• Strong project management skills and a structured working method

• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical creativity

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages. German is an advantage

• You are analytically strong, proactive and have good communication skills.
